Venice in Five Minutes
I was just told that we had to be out of the lobby in five minutes. So here’s the run down.
I went to the Peggy Guggenheim museum here. It was filled with abstract, surrealist, cubist, and other contemporary art. It was quite nice to see. I don’t think I got as much out of it as everyone else because there isn’t really any historical context for me. I did see a few paintings that I liked a lot, though.
Here’s one that I thought was just silly.
There’s an infinity symbol in his afro!
Afterwards we walked around, ate lunch, and went to St. Zarccarei’s and St. Marc’s.
At St. Marc’s I bought some corn to feed to the pigeons. They flew onto my hand and on my head. It was the best two euros I’ve spent here.
More fun tomorrow! I love Venice!
